I can not wait until this election is over. Every conversation we have had for the past 6 months has been about politics...I don't know what we will talk about after Tuesday.
Other than the never ending election, we have been very busy lately. Spent a weekend in San Diego. Tailgated at Qualcomm Stadium and sadly watched the Chargers walk all over The Patriots. Although a great experience (the tailgating that is), the game was TERRIBLE. I hate Chargers fans, they are so mean. I mean really, I never would have though that people from San Diego could be so mean.
The next weekend we headed up to Seattle, WA to visit my friends Dini and Anju. They moved up there in July so we decided to go up for a visit. Apparently we lucked out because the weather was absolutely beautiful with no rain all weekend. Sunny, 60's just like a crisp fall day in New England. Seattle is BEAUTIFUL. A great small city with many different neighborhoods and awesome restaurants. Dini and Anju took us out to this amazing 5 course tasting just down the street from where they live, the food was amazing. (Rover's) We did a lot of sight seeing and exploring, got to see the fish throwing at Pike's Place Market and drink lots of yummy coffee!
After a great week of traveling, we finally headed back to Santa Monica to settle in until the holidays. Heading to Arizona again for Thanksgiving and then back to MA on December 19th thru the 2nd of January. Can't wait to come home! We are really looking forward to catching up with everyone, it has been a really long time!
Right now Jon is making me watch Saw IV. I am not really watching but pretending...I watched the original Saw movie with him a few years ago and couldn't sleep for like 2 weeks...it is so f'd up and right now there is one guy with his eyes sewed shut chained to another guy w/ his mouth sewed shut and they are being pulled into some sort of machine, I do not want to be friends with whoever thinks up this stuff....
Don't forget to set your clock's back tonight...and remember to get out and vote!
Miss you all!
